Power of Prayer - Something to Think About

There is this small town church. A bar opened up a mile down the road. The pastor and members of the church were so upset, they didn't want a bar to open in their town...yet alone right down the road. They had special prayer meetings and prayed that the bar be removed.

One night, lightning struck the bar and it burned down to the ground. The bar owner sued the pastor and the church. The pastor said that we are not responsible, it was just harmless prayers...just words. The bar owner said their prayers were the reason why lightning hit the bar.

The judge said, "Wait a minute here! So we have a bar owner who believes in the power of prayer and a pastor that does not."
